Pop Warner coach wants to see his teams, again

LIHUE — Hanapepe Pop Warner football players and coaches participating in the program during the mid-1960s through the mid-1970s are invited to a reunion with coach Kazu Richard Ueoka and assistant coach Tommy Rita at the HGEA offices on Akahi Street starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Golfer achieves ace at Princeville Makai course

An Indian Wells, Calif., resident celebrated a rare achievement at Makai Golf Course in Princeville last month. Leah Giacobazzi knocked in a hole-in-one on the seventh hole, hitting the ball 110 yards. Giacobazzi used a 22 hybrid.
