Susumu Muraoka
Susumu Muraoka, 84, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Lihu‘e. He was born on March 13, 1941, in Hawai‘i. He was a retired security officer and Air National Guard.
He was preceded in death by parents Masuichi and Misayo Muraoka, brothers Hiroyshi, Shigeru, Dan, Stanley, and sister Eiko.
He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Muraoka, son Andrew (Naomi) Muraoka, two grandsons, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Koloa. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
