LIHUE — In the Kauai Interscholastic Federation Golf All-Stars that was released on Thursday, Kapaa High School boys team, which earned the Central Pacific Bank KIF team championship, earned three votes. Island School, whose Lucas Summerhays finished the state golf championships in No. 2, finished with two votes, and Kauai High School got one vote.
LIHUE — In the Kauai Interscholastic Federation Golf All-Stars that was released on Thursday, Kapaa High School boys team, which earned the Central Pacific Bank KIF team championship, earned three votes. Island School, whose Lucas Summerhays finished the state golf championships in No. 2, finished with two votes, and Kauai High School got one vote.
The boys golf all-stars include from Kapaa, Graham Morgan, Logan Laymon and Jayvin Raquel. Island School golfers include Summerhays and Garrett Hadley. The sole Red Raider is Caleb Taba.
On the girls’ course, Kapaa, the CPB KIF champions, received two spots, Kauai High School, whose Amalia Abigania earned top Individualist honors in the KIF, earned two spots, with Waimea and Island School getting a spot apiece.
Kapaa golfers named to the Girls All-Stars include Juliette O’Shaughnessey and Mehana Guy. Kauai golfer include Abigania and Sydney Ito. Waimea golfer is Brynn Lee Hirata, and the Island School golfer is Shyla Edgerton.
