Congratulations, Kauai County Councilmember Bernard Carvalho for “humbly” announcing his candidacy for the office of the mayor before an audience of more than 200 people at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall where Lenny Rapozo cooked up enough chili for everyone, including well-known celebrities like Dickie Chang and former mayor Maryanne Kusaka.

Hawaii should have a max term for county council and Mayor. this is pathetic! Carvalho ran 2 terms and its enough. Even Rapozo! enough! we need a change in Kauai. same people same stuff! so sad
It is for 50 years that I have been voteing. I have been giveing my votes for those that are 1) most qualified 2} courage to make Kauai better 3) digs deep for government to step in and intervene when the situation is failing or prevents such a worsened senario.
