LIHUE – The Planning Department reminds and invites the public to attend two upcoming events, at which they may share their input regarding the Kauai Climate Action and Action Plan (KCAAP) and the East Kauai Community Plan.
Join the County of Kauai on Tuesday, May 13, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Kalukalu Economic Resilience Center located at 1624 Kuhio Highway in Kapaa for a joint event where community members can review the draft Kauai Climate Adaptation and Action Plan and participate in a Climate Change Hazards Workshop focused on East Kauai. This open house and workshop offer residents a chance to engage with planners, provide input, and learn more about how climate change is expected to impact their community.
