LIHUE – The Office of Economic Development invites the public to attend the Kauai Made Mother’s Day Craft Fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort in Wailua.
Over 20 Kauai Made vendors will be set up selling their products, along with live music and food. The first 150 shoppers will also receive a free Kauai Made bag. OED also invites attendees to sign their mom up for a chance to win a gift basket filled with Kauai Made products.
The Kauai Made program was launched by the County of Kauai in 2006 with support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority. The goal of the program is to provide locally made products with more visibility and encourage production of value-added agricultural products. A wide range of these products are available through the program including apparel and accessories, fine art, crafts, food, floral, health and beauty, jewelry, publications and more.
