LIHUE — Shutter bugs get your cameras ready as a Total Lunar Eclipse will occur Thursday night and into early Friday, March 14 that is expected to turn the moon blood red for everyone in Hawaii.
The total lunar eclipse will be visible over Kauai from around 8:26 p.m. to 9:31 p.m., Hawaii time. No telescope or special viewing equipment will be required to see this celestial event.
The total lunar eclipse will make Friday’s full blood worm moon appear red. If you are unable to see the lunar eclipse, space.com will be livestreaming the event.
