John Wayne Wyatt, 74, of Wailua, Kauai, passed away on Feb. 4, 2025, in Wailua, Kauai. He was born on July 19, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by mother Lily Gray, father Floyd Wyatt and sister-in-law Patricia Wyatt.
He is survived by wife Pennie Wyatt, son Clay (Jena) Wyatt, daughters Hannah Wyatt, Kristi Mitchell, grandchildren Ezekiel Ramirez, Zoey Ramirez, Samantha Poston, Makenzie Mitchell, Charlotte Mitchell, brother Joseph Wyatt, nephew Stephan Wyatt and niece Michaela Wyatt.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Barbara Jean Wong
Barbara Jean Wong, 88, passed away on Feb. 20, 2025, in Lihue. She was born on Nov. 1, 1936, in Minnesota. She was a retired waitress.
She was preceded in death by parents Elmer and Vergie Kussatz and partner Issac A. Poe.
She is survived by Alberta (George) Heath, Celeste “Ulu” Poe and Robin (Robin) Crawford.
A service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation begins at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m., and burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Dionne Fernandez
Dionne Fernandez, of Anahola, passed away on Feb. 25, 2025, at the age of 37. She was born on Jan. 11, 1988. She was an airplane off loader for Amazon.
She was preceded in passing by her mother Darnell Alapai, grandparents Rawlin and Elaine Fernandez and Sancho and Mercy Efhan.
She is survived by her father Gregory Teo Efhan, brother Christopher Kamaka Kainalu Fernandez, numerous nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and grandniece.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Jaime Keoki Mikiala Malama
Jaime Keoki Mikiala Malama, 58, of Kekaha, passed away on Jan. 15, 2025, in Kekaha. He was born on Sept. 22, 1966, in Waimea. He was an electrician.
He was preceded in death by father Patrick T. Malama.
He is survived by Alisa Malama, son Nakoa (Kai-Lee) Malama, daughters Brandee (Sheldon) Soto, Byrlynn (Shane) Malama, grandchildren Camron Soto, Michael Soto, Kainalu Cabral, Kamaehu Cabral, Kaliko Kenney, mother Pinky Malama, brother Patrick “Kanani” Malama of Waimea, sisters Roberta “Pua” (Chucky) Remata of Kekaha, Raenette (Alton) Lopez of Kekaha, Jackie (Preston) Lee of Kekaha, Lolly (Mel) Malama of Kekaha, Desiree (Daniel) Kittredge of Waimea, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Kekaha Neighborhood Center. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by service from 1 to 2 p.m.
