LIHUE — The body of Noa Howatt was identified by law enforcement on Thursday near the Kukuiolono Loop Trail in Kalaheo.
Howatt was reported missing on Wednesday, Feb. 12, after he was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025. Law enforcement officials reported no foul play was suspected; however, an autopsy is currently pending to determine the cause of his death.
The Kauai Police Department KPD extended their heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
KPD alerted the public on Wednesday, Feb. 12, that 33-year-old Noa Howatt from Lawai was reported missing after he was last seen on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, wearing a grey jacket and dark-colored surf shorts.
