William Martin
William Martin, 92, of Kekaha, was called to his Heavenly Home on Dec. 21, 2024. Willie, a retired Kekaha Sugar Company Paniolo, worked as a ranch cowboy and heavy equipment operator during his years of service. As he raised his family, Willie worked on the weekends as a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies. He also served in the Hawai‘i Army National Guard.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents Antone and Virginia Martin, his beloved wife Marcia Martin, grandsons Keli‘i Shigematsu and Austin Alquiza.
He is survived by his daughters Cyndi (Glenn) Alquiza, Joni (Kent) Shigematsu, Emmylou (Lance) Martin, grandchildren Breanne (Jared) Meier, Leilani (Damien) White, Keonimana Shigematsu, Macey Parongao (Jr.), Li‘a Shigematsu (Aaron), Ka‘eo Parongao (Anuhea), great-grandchildren Noa Meier, Kyler Meier, Zavynpraise Niau, Kya White, Kaimalie Parongao Vea, Nanea Parongao Vea, sister Emily Souza, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eddie and Yvonne Souza, hanai brother Doug McCully, hanai son Wil Dargan, best friend Amigo Satoru Shigematsu (a Jack Russell terrier pug), including numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to honor Willie will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha. Visitation with the ‘ohana will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Mass will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at the Kekaha Public Cemetery. The ‘ohana suggests casual attire.

Ernest Simon Silva Jr.
Ernest Simon Silva Jr., of Kekaha, passed away at home on Dec. 16, 2024, at the age of 73. He was born on Aug. 8, 1951, at Wilcox Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Silva Sr., Mildred Silva, brother Lloyd Silva, daughter Ernette Silva and sister Geraldine Silva.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Silva, sons Ernest Silva III, Ezra John Silva, Eldred Benton (Ciara) Silva, grandchildren Anela, Keao, Makana, Iwalani and sister Rosalie (Moki) Nitta.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at the Waimea Neighborhood Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family suggests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Noel Marie Ululani Walker
Noel Marie Ululani Walker, 77, of Waimea, died at her residence. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Preceded in death by husband George Walker, parents Joseph and Leilani Apana, siblings Toni Driver, Buddy Apana and Lee Lindsey.
She is survived by daughter Leilani Duarte, son Joel Walker, stepsons Kevin Walker, Alan Walker, sisters Jackie Woolsey, Joey Pajela, Lizzy Kaahui, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Kekaha Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses starting at 2:30 p.m. Private inurnment.
