LIHUE — The Kauai Interscholastic Federation recently released its 2024 KIF Girls Volleyball All-Stars.
The all-stars are derived from the four member KIF schools that participated during the season. The roster includes one sophomore, four juniors and three seniors.
Coach of the Year is Paea Tafea of the Kapaa High School Lady Warriors.
Player of the Year honors belong to Kapaa High School juniort Carlyn Kamoku, who was also voted one of three Outside Hitters.
Other Outside Hitters include Mary Magoun, a senior from Island School, and Kapaa High School senior Olivia Jenkins.
The sophomore, Tyra Carvalho of Kapaa High School, was voted to the Middle Blocker position along with Madelynn Halladay, a junior from Island School.
Taira Samiano-Olivera, a Kapaa High School senior who just completed a strong girls basketball season with the Lady Warriors, was voted the Setter.
Kapaa High School, the Central Pacific Bank KIF champions in the sport, also filled in the Libero position with junior Kuuipo Hunt.
