LIHUE — The Kauai High School Athletic Department is currently seeking applicants to fill the position of head track and field coach.
Interested candidates should submit a resume to the Kauai High School front office, care of the Athletic Department, no later than Feb. 4.
The head track and field coach would oversee all components of the track and field program, including but not limited to the hiring, supervising and mentoring of assistant coaches; skills development, training and conditioning of the team’s running, jumping and throwing student-athletes; emphasizing high academic excellence; and creating systems of compliance as required by law, district or school regulations, and administrative directive.
The head coach should demonstrate strong leadership, character development, sportsmanship and organizational skills.
