KUKUIULA — Black Friday promotions will start as early as 8 a.m. at The Shops at Kukuiula with the Lappert’s Hawaii “Breakfast-On-Us” campaign.
“Shop early and show us your Black Friday receipt of any amount to receive a Lappert’s Hawaii Breakfast-on-Us coupon for a free 16-ounce coffee of the day, and choice of muffin, scone or two undecorated cookies while supplies last,” said Pilare Mukai of The Shops at Kukuiula.
Additionally, shoppers for Black Friday deals at The Shops can earn triple Hawaiian Airlines Miles. The Shops will have a special table in front of Tommy Bahama where shoppers can redeem their receipts with a minimum of $50 and a maximum of $500 purchase. There may be additional restrictions that may apply.
“And, don’t miss The Shops’ Yeti Roadside Cooler prize drawing,” Mukai said. “There is no purchase necessary, and entrants must be 18 years or older to be eligible for the drawing. Shoppers are able to register at the table in front of Tommy Bahama up until 1 p.m.”
During the Black Friday promotions period that starts at 8 a.m. and runs through 1 p.m., there will also be a live DJ and a surprise visit from Santa Claus.
“The holiday season is here,” said Senior Property Manager Mike Hubbard. “We look forward to celebrating with our community by offering special promotions, and a special Santa visit. We also ask support for the Koloa Elementary School students and their one-of-a-kind holiday bags that are at select stores in The Shops at Kukuiula and the management office.”
Starting on Friday and continuing through Dec. 24, the Koloa Elementary School Holiday Bags Fundraiser offers hand-decorated gift bags by students in grades kindergarten through Grade 5 for a $1 minimum donation. The Shops will match all contributions up to a $1,500 maximum.
Holiday events overflow into December when The Shops invite everyone to visit with Santa on Wednesdays through Dec. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. during The Kauai Culinary Markets. There is a minimum donation of five canned foods, or $10 cash that will benefit the Kauai Independent Food Bank.
On Dec. 13, the Palm Court area of The Shops will blossom with the Keiki Holiday Bash where keiki can decorate their own gingerbread cookie, make s’mores, and enjoy a fun scavenger hunt from 6 to 8 p.m. A minimum donation of five canned food items or $10 will benefit the Kauai Independent Food Bank.
