LIHU‘E — The county’s Agency on Elderly Affairs will be hosting a disaster preparedness and wellness fair on Thursday at Lihu‘e Civic Center.
LIHU‘E — The county’s Agency on Elderly Affairs will be hosting a disaster preparedness and wellness fair on Thursday at Lihu‘e Civic Center.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., multiple vendors and resources will be available at the fair, including resources on caring for the elderly and information on advanced care planning, such as simple wills, power of attorney and advanced health care directives.
Informational sessions will be hosted at Lihu‘e Civic Center, Mo‘ikeha Rooms A and B.
Presenters include Public Health Nurses, Adult Protective Services, Kaua‘i Fire Department, Legal Aid Society, American Medical Response, Agency on Elderly Affairs and Alzheimer’s Association.
