Registration for county swim classes is March 25
WAIMEA — Registration for preschool swim classes takes place at the Waimea swimming pool on March 25, from 9:30 a.m.
The program is open to children ages 2 to 5. Registration is limited and will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis.
There are eight sessions over four weeks, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 or 11 a.m., from April 5 to 28.
Participants in the class must be accompanied by an adult. The class is designed to orient preschoolers to the aquatic environment, and teach them basic skills and water safety.
The pool is at 9678 Haiki Road, adjacent to the Waimea High School campus and Waimea Neighborhood Center.
