The Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i valet team, including Tyson (I know Coach Brandon, too) Moises, Cliff Mission, JP Casugo, Alex Bensaid, and Matt Fernandez make a great first impression, not just Wednesday during the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce Economic Outlook Luncheon, but every day.

The Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i banquet staff, including Jean Miner, Leilani Bright, and Arleen Yoshimori (she said General Manager Dan King is retiring at the end of the month!) ensured the lunch buffet at the Kaua‘i Chamber Economic Outlook Luncheon is fresh, hot, and not running out.

The Kaua‘i Veterans Center is illuminated in blue on Thursday during the East Kaua‘i Lions Club meeting, where the club presented a $500 donation to the Kaua‘i Junior Dragster program. Mary Kay Hertog, the Kaua‘i Veterans Council commande,r said the building is normally illuminated in green to support the veterans. However, the blue illumination supports cancer awareness.

Kudos, Mark Perriello, Rose Ramos Benzel (mahalo for the heads-up) of the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce, and Leland Kahawai of First Hawaiian Bank for coordinating the Economic Outlook Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa (there’s just a few more night remaining in March to view the blue illumination supporting cancer awareness at the resort’s main lobby atrium). The event served to showcase the quality of “Hyatt people” as they did their respective tasks caring for the 200-plus guests.
