Tony said a dollar from each book sale will be donated to Kilauea School so they can start a music program (Tony is also a musician with PowerHound!).
He said everything started after he was visited by an alien, Veena, who established herself as his resident muse and, collaboratively, produced the book that people have taken to exotic places around the globe and sent him photos of the book from those exotic locations.
This weekend also welcomes the Year of the Rabbit with firecrackers at The Shops at Kukui‘ula on Friday at the Flavors of Kukui‘ula starting at 5:30 p.m., a day of Chinese lion dancing at Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e on Saturday, and Michael Ching said the appearance of an O‘ahu-based Chinese lion team visiting the North Shore on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting at the Ching Young Village Shopping Center in Hanalei and making its way to other neighboring sites.
