And, when Ganot moves to Kaua‘i (that’s what he told Ron Wiley. Mayor Derek Kawakami heard him), he knows he got all those extra hands, like Stephanie Iona (husband Charlie Iona poked his head in that bustling gym to try and find Stephanie), Teddy Arroyo (he had to run away to get the Kaua‘i High School junior varsity football team ready to play Pearl City! Good showing on that 51-6 win!), Laurie Yoshida and many more, including Kaua‘i High Athletic Director Keli‘i Morgado, who got an early opening present for that new gym that the UH-Manoa men’s basketball players want to use for a regular-season home game.

Congratulations, Waimea High School football Head Coach Kyle Linoz and the Menehune for its 48-6 win over Kaimuki High late Saturday night (was almost Sunday when the game ended). At least it didn’t rain like Friday night when the weekly Friday Art Night in Hanapepe was called off because of the orographic precipitation.
And kudos, Carol Yotsuda and the Garden Island Arts Council, on getting the Boro Boro Boutique (they were super busy!) showing at the Grove Farm Market craft fair with its really nice inventory of boro-boro wear. See what you missed, Gary Pacheco (mayor of Kilauea)?
Kalena Pacheco of Waipua Garden was at the craft fair, too, along with Chris and Jeanna Iguchi of Lightshadow, who still had stuffs (yes, Eden Raquel, they have Buddhas in all sizes) following the Charity Walk Open Market and Craft Fair at the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort Lihu‘e Friday.
