No, Pua and Todd Wataoka of Watasadas Malasadas (er, Wailua Dough Co.) still had boxes of treats even with the lines at the Wailua Bay Creators Fair on the grounds of the Hilton Garden Inn Kaua‘i Wailua Bay. Hint, park (legally, the Kaua‘i Police Department does ticket!) on Leho Drive that leads to Lydgate Park.
Kudos, Attalia and Eric Alverdes, on creating the sold-out (yep, they have a wait list for vendors!) Wailua Bay Creators Fair (who said it’s good to promote ‘Creators?’) once a month, on the fourth Sunday!
Mel and Sharon Chiba lucked out on dinner at The Dolphin restaurant at The Shops at Kukui‘ula that tied in with the Koloa Plantation Days storytelling by Tita Collins of Maui (who knew Jimmy Sone is from Maui?), who got to meet Bobby Waterhouse-McCord (what year Waimea High School grad was she?). Mahalo, Stacie Chiba-Miguel and Pillare Mukai (they’re home!). The s’more station was definitely not everyday.
Now, how to cover all of the following events: Barbara Gusman, Jaye Gayagas-Youn and the monthly Kaua‘i Made craft fair at the Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach, Wally Rita and the kachi-kachi music at the Koloa Plantation Days-themed Flavors at The Shops at Kukui‘ula, or bon odori that we haven’t had for three years at the Grove Farm bon odori at Puhi Park Saturday?
