LIHU‘E – In observance of Independence Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Monday, July 4.
Closures also include the following facilities: COVID-19 mobile testing at the Hanalei Neighborhood Center, COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall, all neighborhood centers, all refuse transfer stations, Puhi Metals Recycling Center, Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Lihu‘e and Kekaha Landfill.
The schedule for residential refuse pickup remains unchanged, and The Kaua‘i Bus will operate on its regular schedule.
Since the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, the pools will close on Tuesday, July 5 to observe the holiday.
