The Voyagers, earlier earning the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation title following a grueling, five-set playoff against Kapa‘a High, will meet Nanakuli High in a 5 p.m. quarterfinal encounter at Kalani High School.
Top seed for Division II boys volleyball was awarded to St. Louis, which will host Pahoa High of Hawai‘i Island in a 7 p.m. match Thursday at St. Louis School.
The third seed was awarded to Seabury Hall of the Maui Interscholastic League, which will take on Le Jardin Thursday in a 7 p.m. match at Kalani High.
No. 4 seed Pearl City will open against No. 5 seed Konawaena High School Thursday in a 5 p.m. contest at St. Louis.
The championship contest for Division II is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday at the Blaisdell Center.
Top seed for the Division I belongs to Punahou, with Moanalua High securing the No. 2 seed. Kamehameha Schools-Hawai‘i was awarded the No. 3 seed and Kamehameha Schools-Maui earned the fourth seed.
Games for Division I boys volleyball start Monday at different sites around the state, with the winners of the first round meeting back on O‘ahu for the quarterfinal games that start Thursday at either Moanalua or McKinley high schools.
The championship for Division I is scheduled for Saturday starting at 7 p.m. at the Blaisdell Center.
