LIHU‘E — Following their 16-4 win over the East Kaua‘i Legends Saturday at ‘Ele‘ele Park, the Rookies remain undefeated at the top of the Kaua‘i Senior Softball league with an 11-0 record, with two games remaining to be made up.
The Keonimana Gents, with its 16-1 win over West Kaua‘i at the ‘Ele‘ele Park, are in second place with a 9-1 record ,followed by Barteks with an 11-2 record.
The Ahukini Wharf Rats, with a single loss over six games, hold the lead in the 70s Division with a 5-1 record, followed closely by the Koloa Cane Cutters, who are 4-2 following its solid 24-4 win over Na Koa Kupuna, March 25, and a 28-9 win over Tsunami at Isenberg Park last Friday.
Kaua‘i Senior Softball games are at the Wailua Houselots Park field and ‘Ele‘ele Park Saturday, with the first pitches being launched at 9 a.m. at both sites.
