LIHU‘E — Island School, creating school history by winning its first boys soccer title during the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation season, had two of its coaches, Colby Ayonon of the girls team and Sean Magoun of the victorious boys team, named Coaches of the Year as the KIF soccer all-stars were named last week.
LIHU‘E — Island School, creating school history by winning its first boys soccer title during the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation season, had two of its coaches, Colby Ayonon of the girls team and Sean Magoun of the victorious boys team, named Coaches of the Year as the KIF soccer all-stars were named last week.
Hanalei Wann-Keli‘iho‘omalu, Island School senior who is currently on the front lines of Voyager boys varsity volleyball squad, was named Player of the Year for the boys program, and Kaua‘i High School senior Kaleonahe Bukoski earned Player of the Year for the girls program.
Kaua‘i High School girls soccer, the reigning KIF champion, was one of three KIF girls soccer teams that represented the island during the recent Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association state tournament that was waged on O‘ahu.
