Ronald ‘Uncle Ron’ Clark

Ronald “Uncle Ron” Clark went home to be with his heavenly father on Nov. 22, 2020. Born July 10, 1936, in Grass Valley, California, he moved to Kaua‘i in 1970 and fell in love with the island and the people and made it his home. He was a faithful member of the Kapa‘a First Hawaiian Church for over 30 years, and was the church’s greeter, where he welcomed local members and visitors alike every Sunday. He dedicated his life to genuinely helping people, no matter what their circumstances. He was truly an angel on earth.

He is survived by son Lani Kamakanikailialoha Clark and granddaughters Teirine Marie Clagett and Alexia Uiako Alohilani Clark.

A celebration of life with the scattering of his ashes is Sunday, April 3 at noon at Lydgate Park’s north end parking lot, closest to Wailua River. The family suggests those attending bring their own chairs.
