KPD arrest three for burglary and assault

LIHU‘E — A late-night break-in at a Lihu‘e residence led to three arrests, per a police report.

Albert Bactad, 45, of Hanama‘ulu; Paulo Vito, 47, of Kapaia; and Lawrence Vicente-Bermoy, 39, of Kapa‘a, were arrested at 3 a.m. Tuesday on charges of burglary in the first degree and assault in both the second and third degrees.

The trio allegedly assaulted two 42-year-old males and a 29-year-old male after breaking into the residence.

Police did not provide any additional information, as this is an ongoing investigation.

    Wow, what a bunch of bad hombres if true. I hope they get the help they need as who knows what is going on in their heads at 3:00 AM in the morning?
