LIHU‘E — Due to staffing issues, the county Department of Public Works Kaua‘i Resource Center (KRC) will be closing early today, at 4 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 14 at 3:45 p.m.
There will be no impact on the HI5 redemption center operated by Reynolds Recycling or services at the Lihu‘e refuse transfer station.
The KRC regularly operates from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. For more information on services offered at the KRC, visit kauai.gov/KauaiResourceCenter or call 808-241-4841.
The KRC is located at 3460 Ahukini Road in Lihu‘e.
