Jerry Shigeru Kubota
Jerry Shigeru Kubota passed away on Sept. 20, 2021, at the age of 73, in Kapa‘a. He was born on June 15, 1948 in Lihu‘e. He served with the Hawai‘i Air National Guard and was a customer service agent with Aloha Airlines.
He was preceded in death by parents Minoru Kubota and Kiyoko Kubota and sister Eunice Olivas.
He is survived by wife Caleen Kubota, brothers Allan Kubota of Utah, Kenneth Kubota of Kapa‘a and Bobbie Kubota of Kapa‘a, sisters Bernice Hashimoto of ‘Ele‘ele and Joyce Kaneshiro of Honolulu, and by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service was held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
