LIHU‘E — Aloha Dance Studio, which will be headlining Freaky Fridays in October at Kukui Grove Center, announced a series of fall-break activities for keiki.
On Oct. 12, the studio presents “Let’s Groove Hip-Hop and Jazz Workshop, and a limited number of spots are being offered free of charge.
Youth ages 5 to 7 are offered the Intro to Hip Hop class that will be led by teachers Ms. Lea and Ms. Jannelle from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. at the KGC studio located adjacent to the Macy’s Women store.
The studio’s Ms. Keisha leads the youth ages 7 to 10 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Hip-Hop/Jazz, and Ms. Shalyn leads the Teen Hip-Hop for ages 11 to 18, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.

Classes are limited in size.
On Oct. 13 and 14, the Kaua‘i Gymnastics Academy in Puhi will be hosting an All Star Cheer Clinic for youth ages 5 through 19 on both days, featuring coach Chanel Reiling, who has been sharing her passion for cheer and dance with students for more than 15 years.
There are a limited number of spaces available for the two days. There is a registration charge and two-day discount.
Keiki ages 5 to 7 meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon on both days. Youth ages 8 through 12 meet from 1 to 3 p.m. on both days, and youth ages 13 through 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. on both days, at the Kaua‘i Gymnastics Academy in Puhi.
