LIHU‘E — Rob Silverman and Tiana Pegeder of Rob’s Good Times Grill recently presented Life’s Bridges an award for $1,500.
The award represents the August proceeds of Rob’s Good Times Grill Gives Back program where a selected nonprofit, Life’s Bridges being the beneficiary of the August program, receives a portion of the proceeds of a restaurant-selected specialty item.
“We want to help support these community nonprofit organizations so they may continue to support our community, especially during these pressing times,” said Pegeder, the Rob’s Good Times Grill events and entertainment coordinator. “Rob’s has been running our ‘Gives Back’ program since the start of 2021, and the program has been very successful in contributing generous amounts to a number of nonprofit organizations, including The Kaua‘i Food Bank, Kumu’s Cupboard, and much more.”
Life’s Bridges, a volunteer-based group established in 2007, provides grief and bereavement services to youth, adults, families, community organizations, and businesses through the Bridges Emergency Support Team for those whose family members suddenly pass away.
