Kaua‘i teams up to deliver care baskets to kupuna-care facilities

Representatives from the various kupuna-care facilities accept baskets containing cards and gifts for their respective residents from Mayor Derek Kawakami, the county Agency on Elderly Affairs, Kaua‘i Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and state Department of Education during the Senior Corps’ 9/11 Day of Service project Friday at the Lihu‘e Civic Center Moikeha Building.
