TSA donates food in ‘crazy times’

Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank Executive Director Kelvin Moniz is joined by the KIFB staff in thanking the Transportation Security Administration for its nearly 600 pounds of food delivered Friday to the KIFB Nawiliwili warehouse under the Feds Feed Families program.

NAWILIWILI — Betty “BJ” Uegawa of the Transportation Security Administration said she never forgot the feeling of relief and joy when the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank showed up with relief food when TSA was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
