Red Hot Chili Peppers’ singer selling North Shore home

WAINIHA — Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis is selling his Kaua‘i house for nearly $10 million.

Kiedis, whose band recorded songs like “Californication,” “Under the Bridge” and “Can’t Stop” in the 1990s and early 2000s, built the dwelling in 2008. Its development was delayed several years, in part due to the discovery of ancient Hawaiian remains on a neighboring property, The Garden Island reported at the time.

The 2,933-square-foot Kiedis home is built on a 0.42-acre, beachfront lot, and went on the market last month. It features three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a large media room with surround sound.

“Set like a jewel in one of the most beautiful places on earth, listings of this caliber rarely come on the market,” the $9,975,000 listing reads. “Located on a quiet stretch of beach on Kaua‘i’s North Shore, this custom gated home features cool, shaded verandas, light and bright open living areas, and ocean views that go on forever.”

Why doesn’t he just give it away – give it away – give it away now?

Then he’d be broke and have to live under the bridge downtown

He did a concert at Aloha stadium a few years ago. This guy is all show. Is not a millionaire. And he owns nothing. This is the truth. Just checking with the locals. What are they thinking.

If you saw how Red hot chili pepper looks like? You’d see that he cannot possibly own a $10 million dollar home. Rap singer and star.

RG you obviously have no clue.. the Red Hot Chili Peppers raised a generation on their explosive & unique musical style.. musical genius would be a more appropriate comment..

Robbie Dillon, what does free benefit anybody except to encourage dependence? Why don’t you give away what you have, if in fact you’ve acquired anything by your own means.

We live in America. The white look of Red Hot chili pepper beat out NBA star Lebron James, LA Lakers. So who is pop culture paying to make $10 million dollars ? Cannot be both. White or the black man is getting paid. That is the truth. Not both. How’d you figure this out? Staying home.

It’s a joke Patrick, that you didn’t get.

    Well Patrick H. Flores,

Sometimes I feel like I dont have a partner. Sometimes I feel like my only friend – is the city I live in, The City of Angels. Lonely as I am together we cry.

That was a joke! If you new anything about the band, that is one of their most popular songs.

Just because red hot chili pepper is not fight, doesn’t mean he is not smart. He is just not valued to make $10 million dollars.
