KEKAHA — Repairs to the the Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor launch ramp have been completed ahead of schedule, the state Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation announced last week.
The ramp was to officially reopen today, but boaters were utilizing the facility Sunday.
The DLNR DOBOR wanted to let users know that the contractor will remain on-site to complete miscellaneous repairs, but their work is not anticipated to disrupt ramp use.
“We appreciate the hard work and efficiency of our contractor as well as the public’s patience and understanding,” said Meghan Statts, DOBOR assistant administrator, in a statement.
