WAILUA — Registration for the county Summer Golf Program is Monday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wailua Golf Course.
The program is open to golfers ages 7 to 15. The registration fee is $35 per child per session. Enrollment is limited to the first 25 applicants. Face masks are required around the clubhouse, according to a county Department of Parks &Recreation press release.
Two sessions are being offered at the Wailua Golf Course: The first session is from June 21 to July 2, and the second session is from July 6 to July 16. Each session will run Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, and on Fridays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Participants will need to bring a golf bag along with the following clubs: a driver, 5, 7 and 9 irons, pitching wedge and putter. Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, snacks and a beverage are recommended.
Only parents or legal guardians of the child may sign the waiver form. Others wishing to sign for youth must attach a power-of-attorney or notarized document stating they are legally authorized to sign on behalf of the parents or legal guardians. Adults will be required to show driver’s license or other photo identification card.

Requests made as early as possible will allow adequate time to fulfill requests. Also upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print, Braille or electronic copy.
