Pedro ‘Pete’ Camalliri
Pedro “Pete” Camalliri, 91, passed away on March 12, 2021, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital in Kapa‘a. He was born on Feb. 5, 1930 in Kawaihau, and worked at Kaua‘i Beach Boy Hotel.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Elena Camalliri, sisters Dolores (Modesto) Panis, Trinidad (Maximo) Ephan and brother Sergio Camalliri.
Pete is survived by his wife Flora Camalliri, children Patricia (Russel) Yamashiro, Josephine (Todd) Okuno, Peter Camalliri, Anthony (Lisa) Camalliri, Catherine Loo, Maile (Destry) Langtad, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on April 10, 2021. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m., a viewing at Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by burial at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Jarrett Patrick Yoon
Jarrett Patrick Yoon passed away on Feb. 28, 2021, at the age of 55. in compassionate care of Hale Kupuna and Kauai Hospice staff.
Jarrett was preceded in death by his father Edwin Yoon, maternal grandparents Margaret Wakumoto, Isami (Kaeko) Wakumoto, paternal grandparents Bernice Cha and James Yoon.
Jarrett is survived by his mother Grace Yoon, brother Bryan (Liz Jenkins) Yoon, sister Shelagh Arruda and by numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date. The family gratefully declines any koden.

Isao Sugibayashi
Isao Sugibayashi passed away on Feb. 3, 2021, at the age of 98 in Lihu‘e He was born on Nov. 3, 1922, in Lihu‘e. He was a Veteran with the U.S. Army and a retired postal clerk at the Lihue Post Office.
Isao was preceded in death by his parents Chotaro and Haru Sugibayashi, brothers Chojiro Sugibayashi, Kichiji Sugibayashi, Hiroshi Sugibayashi, Yoshizo Sugbayashi, sisters Kimi Oliva, Kazue Horikawa and Mine Tamura.
Isao survived by his wife Hazel Sugibayashi of Lihu‘e, sons Ross (Irene) Sugibayashi of Aiea, Lee Sugibayashi of Lihu‘e, daughter Rona Miura (Victor Sasaki) of Lihu‘e, grandchildren Kylee Sugibayashi and Ryoka Sasaki.
A walk-through visitation will be held at Garden Island Mortuary on April 3, 2021, from 3 to 4 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow. Family suggests casual attire, please omit flowers. Due to COVID-19, social distancing and masks required.

Eric Makakapuaokalani Arizo
Eric Makakapuaokalani Arizo passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 65, in Waimea. He was born on April 26, 1955, in Honolulu.
Eric was preceded in death by his father Roman Arizo, mother Margaret N. Kaleo, brother Raynard Arizo, sisters Faith Arizo and Noe Arizo.
Eric is survived by his wife Patricia May Arizo, sons Kale (Tiare) Makua of Waimea, Kaina (Charis) Makua of Waimea, Kalani Makua of Waimea, daughters Kalae (Keoni) Makua Martins of Waimea, Kealae Precious Makua of Waimea, Valerie (Roddy) Saffery Samio of Anahola, 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brothers Roy Arizo of Waimea, Mark (Renee) Arizo of Palolo, O‘ahu, Raymond Arizo of Utah, sister Ululani (Richard) Kaleo of Waimanalo, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A walk-through visitation will take place at Garden Island Mortuary on May 30, 2021, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. There will be a celebration of Life to follow. Family suggests casual attire and flowers are welcome. Due to COVID-19, social distancing & masks are required.
