Alazne Pomaika‘imaikalani Amorin

Alazne Pomaika‘imaikalani Amorin, 3 days old, of Lihu‘e, passed away at home on March 8, 2021. She was born in Lihu‘e on March 5, 2021.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Darrell Amorin.

She is survived by parents Emerson and Amber Amorin, sisters Aryana Amorin and Alexia Amorin, brother Ethan Amorin, hanai brother Xaerys Dela Cruz, paternal grandmother Dawn Amorin, maternal grandparents Peter and Esther Riopta, and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life is Saturday, March 20, at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home, with viewing from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home.

Josephine Edica Yadao Asuncion

Josephine Edica Yadao Asuncion, 84, of Kilauea, passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on March 9, 2021.

She was preceded in death by husband Vernon “Cris” Asuncion, parents Timoteo and Eutropia Yadao, brothers Bernard, Jose, Raymond and Joseph “Juny” Yadao, sisters Maria Cabungan, Esmenia “Essie” Belmonte and Christina “Katy” Constantino.

She is survived by children Timothy “Timmy” (Patrice) Asuncion, Nadine (Robin) Robinson, Cisco (Tom) Peru, Magdalena “Cookie” Peru, Leslie “Evajoy” Peru, Marian “Hue” Regidor, Cristine Asuncion, Leonard “Theresa” Asuncion, Joanne Asuncion and Jade “Larry” Rosa, sister Francis Bilog, 22 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and sisters-in-law.

A celebration of life is Friday, March 26, at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home, with viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

A Mass is Saturday, March 27, at St. Sylvester Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kilauea Japanese Cemetery.

Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
