Night work on Kuhio Highway in Kapa‘a set for Feb. 21 to 26
KAPA‘A – Night construction work will be performed on a portion of Kuhio Highway in Kapa‘a from Feb. 21 to 26. Traffic will be modified nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the following day, weather permitting.
The northbound lane of Kuhio Highway between 4-856 Kuhio Highway (in front of Ross Dress for Less) and Kipuni Place will be closed. Northbound traffic will be shifted into the two-way left-turn lane in the work area. Left turn movement into driveways within the immediate work zone will be prohibited.
The work is necessary to allow the Wastewater Management Division to perform maintenance work on the area’s sewer system.
Motorists should drive with caution, expect delays, and adjust their travel times as needed.
