Reynalda Evangelista Ramos
Reynalda Evangelista Ramos of Lihu‘e passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on Jan. 17, 2021, at the age of 71. She was born in Orani, Bataan, Philippines, on April 23, 1949. She worked at Wilcox Memorial Hospital as a nurse’s assistant and Wal-Mart as a front associate.
She was preceded in death by husband Samuel Ramos, daughters Michelle and Leilani Ramos, parents Crispin Evangelista and Anicia Cruz, and brothers Bayani, Marcial, Dante and Salome Evangelista.
She is survived by son Samuel “Jun” (Kanani) Ramos Jr., six grandchildren, sister Antia De Leon, brother Guillermo Evangelista, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is Saturday, Feb. 13, at Immaculate Conception Church. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with Mass at 10 a.m. Burial of her ashes follows at Lihu‘e Cemetery.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Noboru Kinoshita
Noboru Kinoshita, 98, of Nawiliwili, passed away on Jan. 30, 2021, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was a retired iron worker.
He was preceded in death by parents Koizo and Yasu Kinoshita, sister Masae Morita, and brothers Yukio and Satoshi Kinoshita.
He is survived by sisters Edith Ige of Guam and Mabel Nakashima of Honolulu, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The family requests no koden (monetary gifts).

Verna Mae Kaulili
Verna Mae Kaulili passed away on Jan. 29, 2021, at the age of 66, at her residence in Po‘ipu.
She was born on March 28, 1954 in Lihu‘e, and was a store clerk.
She was preceded in death by father Samuel Vegas and sister Angela Vegas.
She is survived by husband Springwater Kaulili Sr. of Koloa, sons Springwater (Wainani) Kaulili Jr. of Koloa and Tyrel Kaulili of Koloa, daughters Michele Kaulili-Allianic of Koloa, five grandchildren, mother Rose Santiago of Hanama‘ulu, brothers Sam (Sandra) Vegas of Maui and Darren (Liana) Vegas of Lawa‘i, sister Norma (Gilbert Sr.) Serraon of Koloa, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Rodney Delanoza
Rodney Delanoza, 65, of Kekaha, passed away in Reno, Nevada on Nov. 19, 2020 of COVID-19.
He was born in Waimea on Jan. 11, 1955, and retired from United Airlines as a flight attendant.
He was preceded in death by father Bicente Delanoza.
He is survived by mother Genevieve Delanoza of Kekaha, life partner Rick Jordan of Reno, Nevada, sister Gwendolyn of Kekaha, brothers Alan of Los Angeles, Derek of Honolulu and Chad (Mary) Delanoza of Kekaha, and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
A celebration of life is at Garden Island Mortuary in Lawa‘i on Saturday, Feb. 20.
Social distancing and masks are required when visiting with the family from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a short program. Inurnment will occur at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery at 2 p.m.
The family suggests aloha attire, and welcomes flowers and lei.
