Christmas trees accepted for green-waste recycling

LIHU‘E — Christmas trees are being accepted for recycling daily except on holidays at County of Kaua‘i green waste drop-off areas.

The Hanalei, Hanapepe, Kapa‘a, and Lihu‘e refuse transfer stations are open for Christmas tree recycling from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The Kekaha Landfill is also available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
