Libraries to observe Christmas and New Year holidays

HONOLULU — In observance of the state-recognized holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Day, all public libraries will be closed from this Friday to Sunday, Dec. 25 to 27, and Friday to Sunday, Jan. 1 to 3, 2021

In addition, all libraries that are open on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve. Thursday, Dec. 31, will close at 4 p.m. each of these days.

Although the libraries are closed, resources like ebooks, audiobooks and streaming movies are available 24/7 at librarieshawaii.org.
