State’s presidential electors cast votes Monday

PEARL CITY — The Electoral College will convene Monday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at the State Capitol auditorium.

Hawai‘i’s four presidential electors will cast their votes for president and vice president of the United States. Presidential electors are named by Hawai‘i’s qualified political parties, before the election occurs, and are then invited to the Electoral College based on the results of the general election.

The State Capitol is closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Electoral College will be livestreaming through the Office of Elections’ Facebook page at
