KIUC Nominating Committee recommends incumbents

LIHUE — The Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative Nominating Committee has confirmed three candidates for its 2021 Board of Directors election on March 13, 2021. Three of the nine director positions are up for election annually.

The nominated candidates are, in alphabetical order: incumbents David Iha, Janet Kass and Teofilo “Phil” Tacbian.

Members can also run for the cooperative’s board by submitting a completed petition form, which includes the name, service address, phone or account number and signature of at least 35 members by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

All potential candidates must complete the Prospective Director Candidate Application and Authority to Release Information form, comply with Board Policy 18 and attend a board orientation.
