Alma Marie Soares

Alma Marie Soares, 87, of Lihu‘e, passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on Nov. 17, 2020. She was born on Jan. 3, 1933, and was a dedicated homemaker.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Soares Jr., son Peter Soares, granddaughters Carrie Colobong, Shirley Pacanes, Sanoe Soares, parents Willie and Emily Victorino and numerous siblings.

Alma is survived by daughter Veronica Colobong, son Manuel Soares, sister Thelma Lopes, brother Lois Victorino, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
