Additional county building screenings set

LIHU‘E — The county announced additional health-screening measures for customers of the Lihu‘e Civic Center’s Kapule Building effective Monday, Nov. 16.

Customers and any accompanying individuals must be able to pass a health screening to include a temperature check and answering a few health- and travel-related questions before entering the building for services.

If the applicant does not comply or pass the health screening, the appointment will be rescheduled on a date at least 14 days after their initial appointment.

The health and safety of the community and associates has been and remains the county’s primary focus. Social-distancing guidelines will be enforced, and masks are required for entry and service.
