Waimea, Kalaheo lane closures scheduled

The county Department of Public Works announced that portions of Waimea and Kalaheo will have periodic lane closures to allow Pacific Preferred, a subcontractor for Maui Kupono Builders, to conduct striping and pavement-marking work from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather-permitting, from Monday through Friday, Nov. 16 to 20.

Work is scheduled along Makeke Road in Waimea, as well as Hokua Road, Polaris Road, Pu‘u Kulana Place, Pu‘u Road and Papalina Road in Kalaheo.
