Game-bird season opens Nov. 7

HONOLULU — The state Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife announced the opening of the 2020-21 game-bird hunting season, from Saturday, Nov. 7 to Jan. 31, 2021.

The fall game-bird-hunting season complies with federal mandates, including the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and to meet current state regulations, the last day for hunting mourning dove will be Jan. 17, 2021. A valid hunting license and a game-bird stamp are required for all game-bird hunting on public and private lands.
