LIHU‘E — The county Department of Public Works announced that portions of streets in Lihu‘e will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 22 and 23, to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road-reconstruction work, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather-permitting.
LIHU‘E — The county Department of Public Works announced that portions of streets in Lihu‘e will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 22 and 23, to allow Maui Kupono Builders to conduct road-reconstruction work, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather-permitting.
Road construction is scheduled Thursday on Upena and Kapena streets, and Friday on Makau, Luina and Mokoi streets.
One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists during these closures.
