LIHU‘E — The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is accepting donations today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Resource Center at the Lihu‘e Transfer Station on Ahukini Road past Lihu‘e Airport.
LIHU‘E — The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is accepting donations today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Resource Center at the Lihu‘e Transfer Station on Ahukini Road past Lihu‘e Airport.
Residents, businesses and organizations can bring in unwanted or unneeded items including clothing, small furniture, children’s toys, books and shoes. Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition. Torn or stained clothing is OK.
Please do not bring eWaste, chemicals, appliances or broken items. Check local thrift stores to see if they’re capable of taking donations before bringing items to the KRC.
Donors are requested to maintain social distancing, wear masks, and follow all directions from all staff.
The ARC also offers pick-up services from thrift stores and businesses. Call 241-4195 and information will be forwarded to the ARC for next month’s pickup service. Pick-up is not available to individuals.
