Alzheimer’s training slated to begin Friday

The Alzheimer’s Association will be presenting it’s free flagship “Caregiver Training” for family caregivers. The online presentation run through December on the last Friday of every month from 2 to 3:30 p.m., with bonus classes announced each month.

As every class is a complete treatment of each subject area, you may register for just one class, or the entire series.

Topics covered in the program include:

• Going to the doctor

• Deciding when to stop driving

• Making legal and financial plans

This series of classes assembles the experience and wisdom of many scientists, generations of caregivers and the Association on how to make caregiving a more reasonable and balanced experience.

The first Kaua‘i-based program is on Friday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. You can call (800) 272-3900 to reserve your space.
