HONOLULU — Bank of Hawai‘i announced its new health-screening app, Health Check, available for free at the Apple App Store and Google Play.

In an effort to support local businesses as they prepare for re-opening once work-at-home/stay-at-home orders are lifted, Bank of Hawai‘i is making its Health Check app, developed by its own Information Technology and E-commerce Divisions, available to employers and their employees.

While the app does not detect COVID-19, when used appropriately it serves as an added layer of protection by allowing individuals who may be exhibiting symptoms, or who may have been exposed or potentially exposed to COVID-19, to perform a self-assessment before they enter the workplace. The app features three simple questions based on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Employee Screening Questionnaire.
